Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. a local independently owned and operated Sperry Van NessŪ office known as Sperry Van NessŪ/Walt Arnold Brokerage Inc., was founded by Walt Arnold in 1990 and has a proven track record of helping owners achieve their occupancy goals and lease rates in multi-tenant business parks, office buildings and retail centers in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

and property management companies. Walt Arnold, Dana Van Doren, and Barbara Buell have worked together to bring consistency,

Walt Arnold has been a New Mexico real estate licensee since 1984. He is a member of SIOR (Specialist in Industrial & Office Real Estate),
and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) of which he was a past president of Chapter 10.
He is a current member and Past President of the Commercial Association of Realtors of New Mexico - CARNM - and was named CARNM's 1998
Realtor of the Year.
Walt graduated from the University of New Mexico and is a former NFL player for the Los Angeles Rams, Houston Oilers, and Kansas City Chiefs.
He was named to UNM Football 100 Year All-Time Team and is an inductee in the UNM Hall of Honor and the Albuquerque Sports Hall of Fame.

Dana Van Doren began her career at Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in 1991. Her background includes work as administrative assistant to attorneys, a Corporate Vice President and a Mayor. Dana has worked in various capacities during her years with the company. She is a highly skilled and versatile professional and has been instrumental in the growth and success of the company. She earned her real estate license in 1996 and currently oversees and coordinates all of Walt’s real estate transactions. She serves as Director of Operations for the company which includes oversight and directional leadership for all employees and associate brokers.
Dana was raised in Albuquerque and graduated from Sandia High School. Although her professional commercial real estate career began locally in Albuquerque, she lived and worked in Dallas, Texas for several years before returning to Albuquerque in 1991. She is married to her husband Dave and they have two sons.
Barb Buell joined Sperry Van NessŪ/Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in March 2005
as the accountant for the Property Management Department.
Previously, Barb owned a successful family service business here in Albuquerque
which allowed her to apply her skills in accounting, customer service and
organization. After the business was sold she joined the sales department for New
Mexico's largest electrical sign company and managed several national accounts.
She has been a welcome addition to the staff and shares a common goal of
professionalism and dependability to clients and customers.
Barb was raised in California and attended the University of New Mexico. She and
her husband Reed have five children.
Irene Carr joined Sperry Van NessŪ/Walt Arnold
Commercial Brokerage Inc, in December 2008. She
moved to New Mexico in December of 1991, and joined
First Place Realtors in Clovis, New Mexico. Upon
moving to Albuquerque in 1995, she joined Cauwels &
Associates at Broadbent Business Park, a 325,000 sq.
ft. business center as the on-site administrator.
Irene joined Vaughan Company Realtors in 2002 and
was the Director of the Home Service Department and
new agent recruiter. She expanded her duties by
becoming the Director of the Journey to Mastery
Training Program. In February 2007, Irene joined BGK
Albuquerque Property Management as the property
manager of the “Chant Portfolio” a 600,000 sq. ft.
commercial development that was acquired by BGK
Group.
Irene was raised in Tucson, Arizona and lived in Las
Vegas, Nevada. While in Las Vegas she was the
assistant manager of several residential properties
for Clayton, Williams & Sherwood. Having experience
in residential and commercial property management
she brings years of experience to Sperry Van
NessŪ/Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage Inc.
Irene has two children and is looking forward to
continuing in a challenging career she enjoys.
Sperry Van NessŪ Senior Advisor specializing in Industrial/Commercial/Land,
buyer representation, tenant representation and developer/property owner
representation in the sales, leasing, and acquisition of industrial and
commercial properties in the Greater Albuquerque Metropolitan Area, Rio Rancho,
and Santa Fe. During his 25 years in the business, he has successfully
completed over five hundred fifty (550) sale and lease transactions.
Greg relocated to Albuquerque in 1999 from Silicon Valley where he spent 15
years as a commercial/industrial/land real estate broker with several commercial
real estate firms including Cushman and Wakefield and BT Commercial Real Estate.
Prior to joining Sperry Van NessŪ, Greg worked with Real Estate Advisors as well
as with a local brokerage firm that was primarily owned by John Black, the single
largest individual land holder in the Westside of Albuquerque. Greg has sold
several hundred acres of land including large subdivisions on the Westside of
Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Bernalillo.
Mr. Linde is an active member of the NAIOP, the Commercial Association of Realtors
of New Mexico (CARNM) and the Commercial Listing Information Network (LIN).
Mr. Linde is also the designated contact Broker for the CORE Network in Albuquerque.
Mr. Linde has been involved with several community organizations and charities
including Albuquerque Economic Development, Rio Rancho Economic Development,
Storehouse West Food Bank, and the Roadrunner Food Bank. Mr. Linde has also served
on the Quality of Life council and the West Side Planning Council for the
Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.

Greg is well versed in Managerial Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management,
Marketing and Distribution.
Greg enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, horses, hiking, fishing, and playing his guitar.
Ken Richards joined Sperry Van NessŪ in June 2009 as an Associate Advisor.
Ken has participated in a vast array of real estate transactions over his
forty years in the business including sales of industrial, office, shopping
centers, land for commercial and residential development. Ken was the New
Mexico Qualifying Broker for the developer of Paradise Hills in Albuquerque
and Rio Grande Estates in Belen in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. He
owned and operated his own real estate brokerage firm for thirty five years.
Ken was also a partner in the R.C. Cola franchise in the mid 1980’s in New Mexico.
He has owned and managed his own real estate portfolio including shopping centers,
offices, apartments and residential property.
Ken graduated from the University of Nebraska (Omaha) in 1956. He spent eight
years in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Captain, then returned
to New Mexico in 1965 where he had been stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base in the late 1950’s.
Ken is looking forward to a promising career with Sperry Van NessŪ, where he can apply
his forty plus years of experience in the real estate profession. He will also
continue his avocation in his favorite sport of amateur golf with the New Mexico
Senior Golf Association.
Mr. Paterson joined Sperry Van NessŪ/Walt Arnold in August of 2009. Art has managed,
sold, and leased properties throughout New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas for several
developers. Over the past 23 years Art has represented numerous buyers, sellers,
landlords, and tenants in the procurement, disposition, and leasing of commercial
real estate buildings and land.
Prior to joining Sperry Van NessŪ Art was a Vice President for Real Estate Advisors
as well as a Vice President for Goodman Realty Services in the commercial leasing
division. At Goodman Realty Services Mr. Paterson's primary responsibility was to
maintain a pipeline of commercial leasing and brokerage activities for the company
in New Mexico. He was responsible for the leasing of over 500,000 square feet of
retail space which included the Regional Shopping Center Montgomery Plaza. Art also
did the leasing for One Sun Plaza, the Class "A" Office Complex in Albuquerque. In
two years Art and his partner completed the leasing of One Sun Plaza to 100% Occupied.
One of the key leases he did was a 106,000 square foot lease with the U.S. Forest Service.
This lease helped bring the U.S. Forest Service to Albuquerque and was the largest
commercial lease done in the state of New Mexico for the year 2004.
Art's main goal is to make sure our clients have a smooth experience
throughout their whole real estate experience. In doing this we have developed a
network of vendors, movers, computer network architects, and many more to coordinate your move.
We are willing to work with you from developing a needs analysis, viewing space, negotiating
terms, reviewing floor plans, and coordinating your move.

Art spends his free time with his family, church, bike riding, weight lifting, and
various other outdoor activities.
In November 2009, Ed Anlian joined Sperry Van NessŪ as an advisor specializing in office
and industrial leasing and brokerage. At the firm, Ed utilizes his diligent work ethics
and broad commercial real estate experience to provide the most efficient and responsible
service to his clients. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Ed was an associate at Real Estate
Advisors where he was responsible for the management and marketing of properties ranging
from small commercial condominiums to large Class A office buildings. Before becoming a full
time commercial realtor in May 2006, Ed owned his own business, Techline, for 23 years.
Ed analyzed office requirements and created space plans for customers and clients across the
state of New Mexico; his expertise ranges from assessing workspace needs that maximize functionality
to designing layout plans that fall within a client’s budget to directing the implementation
of effective office, medical and business environments.

As a native of Albuquerque, Mr. Grending joined Sperry Van NessŪ/Walt Arnold Commercial
Brokerage, Inc. in 2010 as an advisor specializing in office and industrial leasing/brokerage.
Carl’s educational background, financial expertise, owner of commercial property, as
well as his previous experience as a vice-president of a publicly traded office furniture
company makes him a uniquely qualified broker when representing buyers, sellers, landlords and
tenants. Carl’s work ethic, honesty, and straightforward approach provide unparalleled service
for his clients. This experience, coupled with his market knowledge, positive attitude and
financial analysis capabilities offer clients a recognizable value-added advocate to their transaction.
Before becoming a full-time commercial real estate broker, Carl was the vice-president for a
local office furniture company with 5 locations across the country. While managing the locations,
Carl had to rapidly recognize, analyze and address issues as they arise and implement solutions.
Over the 19 years of experience in the business, he has helped companies with move management,
project management, cost analysis, asset analysis, budgeting, workspace assessment, and design
layout. He has worked with small “mom and pop” companies to Fortune 500 companies across America,
Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Landgraf joined Sperry Van NessŪ/Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in 2010.
Bill previously worked for Premier GMAC Real Estate, specializing in office and
retail leasing/brokerage. Prior to his real estate career, he had a variety of
jobs ranging from bar owner in downtown Albuquerque to working in several capacities
for a local health insurance company, including customer service, claims processing,
financial analysis and finally senior medical economist. Bill also has a Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Information Technology (IT).
This experience proves to be very helpful in making sure all clients have a smooth
and successful experience during their real estate transaction.
